22 Detailed Command Summary
Reset System
Description: This command will cause the Digital Video Machine to restart.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]XX<CR>
Message Response: R<CR>
Set Time Zone
Description: This command sets the Time Zone information on the DVM4. ā€˜n’ is the number
of hours you are behind the UTC. (Eastern = 5, Central = 6, etc.)
Command bytes: [<ID>@]nTZ<CR>

Set Longitude
Description: This command is used to set your longitude. Longitude is used by the scheduler
to make calculations. You can use either the negative/positive convention or
north/south.

Set Latitude
Description: This command is used to set your latitude. Latitude is used by the scheduler to
make calculations. You can use either the negative/positive convention or
east/west.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]nLA<CR>

Set Time
Description: This command is used to set your DVM4 system time. Fill in the hh:mm:ss
field with the current military time.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]hh:mm:ssTI<CR>
Message Response: R<CR>
Set Date
Description: This command sets the date on the DVM4. You can use slashes or periods to
distinguish between month, day, and year. It is acceptable to use 2 digit years.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]mm/dd/yyyyDA<CR>
