18 Detailed Command Summary
Banner Font
Description: This command changes the font used to draw banners on the designated channel.
Many common fonts such as Arial, Times New Roman, and Courier New are
supported. If you attempt to select a font that does not exist on the DVM4, the
default (Arial) will be used instead.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]<Font>cBF<CR>
Message Response: R<CR>
Examples: Change font to Script on channel 1: Script1<CR>
Change font to Courier New: Courier New1<CR>
Banner Color
Description: This command is used to change banner colors. There are 14 colors to choose
from including: White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Pink, Black, DarkRed,
DarkBlue, DarkGreen, Peach, LightBlue, and Magenta.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]<Color>cBC<CR>
Message Response: R<CR>
Examples: Change color to Red on channel 2: Red2<CR>
Change color to Blue on all channels: Blue*CR>
Banner Location
Description: This command causes the Digital Video Machine 4 to change the location where
the banner is displayed. You may place the banner on either the top or bottom
of the screen.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]<Location>cBL<CR>
where <Location> is B (Bottom) or T (Top).
Message Response: R<CR>
Examples: Set channel 1 banner to Top: T1BL<CR>
Banner Velocity
Description: This command allows you to control the speed at which multi-line banners page
from line to line.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]ncBL<CR>
where n is 0 (Slowest) through 6 (Fastest).
Message Response: R<CR>
