Message Response: R<CR>
Comments: If the video material ends with a non-black screen, that picture will be displayed
until another video file is played.
Loop Play
Description: This command causes the Digital Video Machine 4 to play the currently selected
video file and loop back to the beginning upon completion. Just like play, the
clip number can be inserted before the command to directly search and loop a
video.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]cLP<CR>
or
[<ID>@]ncLP<CR> or [<ID>@]nncLP<CR> or [<ID>@]nnncLP<CR> or
[<ID>@]nnnncLP<CR> or [<ID>@]nnnnncLP<CR>
where n, nn, nnn, nnnn or nnnnn is the file number in ASCII.

Still
Description: This command causes the Digital Video Machine 4 to still frame. Play will
resume from where it left off whenever another Play command is issued unless a
Select File command is issued, in which case the new file will play from the
beginning. Because the video image is held in a digital buffer, the still frame
will be rock solid, and may be held indefinitely without media wear.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]cST<CR>
Message Response: R<CR>
Comments: If a Select File command is issued while in Still mode, playback will start from
the beginning of the selected file whenever another Play command is issued.
Pause
Description: This command functions exactly as ‘Still’ does, however the screen will display
black.
Command bytes: [<ID>@]cPA<CR>
Message Response: R<CR>
Comments: If a Select File command is issued while in Pause mode, playback will start from
the beginning of the selected file whenever another Play command is issued.
Stop
Description: This command causes the Digital Video Machine 4 to stop video playback. The
last frame displayed will remain on screen. If the play command is issue again,
the currently selected video will restart from the 1
st
frame.
