PROBLEMS CAUSES SOLUTIONS
Registrations
not work.
The battery is not
sufficiently charged.
Handset and base
station were not
prepared for
registration.
Charge the battery
for 14 hours (see
Battery Charging).
Unplug and then
plug in the power
adapter.
No display. The battery has not
been charged.
Charge the battery
or replace them
(see Battery
Charging)
No reactions to
keystroke.
No radio
connection to
the base
station:
icon omits and
LCD display
“SEARCHING”
The keypad is
locked.
The handset is
outside the base
station range.
The handset is not
registered.
The base station
does not work.
Press
key
longer than 2
seconds.
Move closer to the
base station.
Register the
handset (see
Registering
Handset).
Unplug and then
plug the power
adapter to the
power outlet and
the other end into
the power jack on
base bottom.
