TERMINOLOGY
Included in the following table are some of the terms, including a definition for each, that
you will become acquainted with as you start your SCRAM Program.
Term Definition
Agency An agency is typically a government organization that
partners directly with AMS to manage clients enrolled in
SCRAM
NET.
Agent An agent is the individual that manages clients enrolled in the
SCRAM Program.
Alert An alert is generated in SCRAMNET when the client
consumes alcohol or attempts to defeat the SCRAM System
in order to mask a drinking event. The types of alerts
generated include:
• Positives
• Tampers
• Communications
• Equipment Alerts
• Equipment Assignment
• Scheduled Maintenance
Call Center A Call Center is a level on SCRAMNET reserved for those
Service Providers that manage multiple agencies.
