Maintenance, Inspection, and Device

Return Conditions

• The device conducts a series of diagnostic checks each time it wakes up.

If the device fails a diagnostic check, the device should be removed from

service and returned to the manufacturer for maintenance.

• The device should be removed from service and returned to the

manufacturer if the device fails to calibrate to the established

specications.

• The device should be removed from service and returned to the

manufacturer if requested by an authorized AMS representative.

• A physical inspection of the device should be conducted before testing by

the device operator to ensure there are no signs of damage.

• Repairs to the device should only be conducted by trained AMS

technitions.
