Alcohol detected
during installation
Indicates that the
bracelet is measuring
alcohol when the
bracelet is assigned,
which is preventing
initialization and
baseline.
Ensure that no sanitizers or
cleaners are are being used on the
bracelet or client other than water
or Sporicidin.
Perform a breathalyzer test to
ensure that no breath alcohol is
present and that client has not
been drinking.
Replace the faceplate, perform
observed readings, then use Direct
Connect on the bracelet.
Assign another bracelet. If alcohol
is still present, the client may be
emitting alcohol or there is an
interferant on the client or installer.
Bracelet
submerged in
water
Indicates that the
bracelet may not be
operational or operating
incorrectly due to water
being in the bracelet
electronics and/or
pump.
Visually inspect the bracelet for
water or condensation in the clear
window on top of bracelet.
Look inside for signs of water or
battery rust.
Question client regarding bathing,
swimming, sauna, steam room,
walking in puddles, or using water
in work environment.
Bracelet battery
draining quickly/
Low Battery alerts
Indicates that battery
in the bracelet requires
replacement before
the scheduled time. (90
days CAM monitoring
or 60 days CAM+HA
monitoring)
Determine if the client has been
excessively waking up the bracelet
with a magnet.
Check for water damage.
Replace battery with a new battery
from an unopened package.
Contact AMS if a Low Battery alert
is generated again before the
scheduled maintenance.
Build up on inside
of bracelet
Indicates that a build up
of material on the inside
area of bracelet may
be causing alerts to be
generated.
Ensure that the client understands
proper procedures for cleaning
under the bracelet.
Determine if the issue is intentional
or a hygiene issue.
Remove the bracelet and straps.
Clean the pogo pins with a
toothbrush and lint free cloth.
Reinstall straps and bracelet on
client.
