» The blue light turns off for approximately 5 seconds
then both lights turn back on.
» Bracelet status in the Direct Connect application:

Note: After 1 minute, the status changes to: Waiting
for Bracelet
b. Remove the Direct Connect device.
9. Insert the tamper clips into the buckle slots and squeeze together
until you hear a distinct click.
10. Refresh the client’s Equipment page to confi rm that the status of
the new bracelet is Assigned to Client.
ASSIGN SCRAM BASE STATION
Perform these steps if, sometime after the initial equipment
assignment, you elect to have the SCRAM CAM client use a base
station to transfer data to SCRAM
NET.
BEFORE MEETING CLIENT
Perform the following steps shortly before meeting with the client.
1. Select a base station in SCRAM
NET, setting the status to Pending
Assignment.
Note: If a wireless SCRAM Base Station is being used, the status
of that device is immediately set to Assigned to Client.
2. Ensure that the wired or wireless SCRAM Wireless Base Station is
fully charged.
WHEN CLIENT ARRIVES
Perform the following steps when the client arrives at your offi ce.
1. Determine the communication method.
Cellular/WI-FI
The wireless SCRAM Base Station allows data to be quickly
uploaded to SCRAM
NET using either cellular or WI-FI services.
Internet Service
To use the ethernet port on the base station, using the proper
tool such as needle-nose pliers, carefully remove the clear, plastic
plug from the Ethernet port. Damage may occur if the plug is
improperly removed. If the client has an Internet modem or
router installed, use an Ethernet cable to connect the base station
to an available network port to send data back to SCRAM
NET
using the client’s Internet service.
Important Note: AMS has no control over the reliability of the
client’s Internet service and AMS Customer Services should NOT
be contacted if Internet services are interrupted. It is the client’s
responsibility to contact his/her Internet Service Provider should
an interruption occur.
