Com plet e t he steps below when the client arrives with
the old device. I f the device is NOT on hand, click t he
St op Monit oring but ton, select t he Stop m onit oring
now and check in equipm ent lat er opt ion, and com -
plet e t he Stop Monit oring wizard to set t he stat us t o
“Await ing Return”. The device will stay in t his st at us
unt il:
The device com m unicates with SCRAM• NET and
is checked in by clicking t he M ove t o I nven-
t ory link on t he client ’s Equipm ent page
You m anually set t he device t o the Lost st at us•
30 days elapses•
Prior to replacing the device:
Plug t he power cord int o the SCRAM Rem ot e 1.
Breat h device being assigned and int o an elect rical
outlet .
The gr een batt ery light will blink when t he device
is fully charged. This m ay t ake several m inut es t o
several hours depending on how m uch t he bat t ery
is current ly charged. Fully charging a dead bat t ery
takes six hours.
To rem ove t he old device:
Access t he client ’s 1. Equipm ent page.
Click the 2. St op Monit oring but ton t o access the
St op Monit oring Wizard page.
Select t he 3. Check in Equipm ent now opt ion and
click t he N ex t but ton.
Click the 4. Finish but ton t o close t he wizard and
ret urn t o the client ’s Equipm ent page.
Press and hold t he 5. Pow er but ton on the device for
approxim ately fi ve seconds unt il t he bat tery light
turns
gre en.

The device st at us is set t o “ I n I nvent ory” in
SCRAMNET.
