3. Installation
• The elements of construction above the device must be made of non-combustible materials.
• Do not ll appliance prior to installation.
• Do not design or install the replace which involves covering the burner plate. Access to fuel tank
is made within the appliance by removing burner plate.
For reasons of safety, under no circumstances can there be any ammable material
within a 1m radius from the replace. Also, the manufacturer does not recommend
positioning any heat sensitive materials or devices above the replace as it can
signicantly limit the materials properties and lifetime. The manufacturer will
not bear any responsibility for the damage to heat sensitive materials or devices
installed above the replace.

Ensure combustible devices and materials are a minimum of 1000mm away from the re.
Detailed on Figure 1 is the minimum opening sizes for the RB1000 and the minimum non-
combustibles construction.
