11.9.1 Limitations Specific to Polycom® VVX 1500
In order to make video calls you need to go Quadros menu and enable video codec of that
extension, on which is set your Polycom® VVX 1500.
There are no additional limitations except for those mentioned in
Limitations and Differences.

To Put a Call on Hold
To place a call on hold, press the Hold soft key or press during an active call. When you
place a call on hold, the following happens:
The hold icon
, will display on the Line Key.
The Line Key status indicator will flash red.
The call’s window is minimized and placed in the inactive call group (above the soft keys).
The inactive call window displays “Hold.”
The following figure shows a call with Joan Smith on hold. The hold icon, and the flashing red
status indicator, display on the Line Key.
Press the Resume soft key, or press again, to retrieve the call.
