Service Manager Known Anomalies
40 Software Release Notice
Service Manager Known Anomalies
The following table describes known Service Manager anomalies:
Description
Solution
In the Outage History in the Service Manager
Dashboard, current outages have no end-time; they
are still occurring. Client system time is used to
calculate the downtime of these current outages.
If the client system clock is not synchronized with the
SpectroSERVER system clock, this calculated downtime
is skewed by the amount of difference in the system
clocks.
For an accurate current outage downtime calculation,
verify that the OneClick client system clocks are
synchronized with the SpectroSERVER system clocks.
MIB Tools Known Anomalies
The following table describes known MIB Tools anomalies:
Description
Solution
OneClick MIB Tools cannot compile a file that contains
multiple MIB definitions.
As a workaround, break up the MIB definitions into
separate files.
Multicast Manager Known Anomalies
The following table describes known Multicast anomalies:
Description
Solution
The performance graph for a Multicast group
experiences an invalid spike at the time of an HSRP
switchover.
We plan to address this issue in a future release.
Multicast groups are not functioning properly before a
manual discovery.
Run a Multicast Discovery manually at least once to
enable groups that were created using Multicast
Background Discovery. Without a manual Discovery, the
Rendezvous Point Associations are not made. The groups
that are created by the Background Discovery remain in
the initial state.
