Service Desk Integration Known Anomalies
30 Software Release Notice
Service Desk Integration Known Anomalies
Platform: Windows 2008 Standard
Symptom:
After running the ServiceDeskIntegrationSetup file, SDNotifier displays the following
error message:
/usr/Spectrum/Notifier/sd_notifier/ServiceDeskSetScript: line 178: ../vnmsh/show:
such a file or directory does not exist.
The error message may not be displayed because it is redirected. In such a situation, the
only way to identify the issue is that the REPAIRPERSON is not notified with email.
Solution:
This issue occurs if the CLIPATH variable is set with an incorrect path. To fix this issue,
take the following steps:
1. Open the following file in a text editor:
$SPECROOT/Notifier/sd_notifier/ServiceDeskSetScript
The ServiceDeskIntegrationSetup file opens.
2. Enter the correct path for CLIPATH. Use the following syntax:
CLIPATH=../../vnmsh export CLIPATH
CA eHealth - CA Spectrum Integration Known Anomalies
The following table describes known CA eHealth - CA Spectrum integration anomalies:
Description
Solution
Alerts from the CA eHealth interface (for example,
LAN/WAN) elements can result in alarms on the
corresponding CA Spectrum device model. And some
CA Spectrum interface models can lack launch points
back into CA eHealth reports.
These symptoms occur when the information that is
shared between CA eHealth and CA Spectrum does not
enable CA Spectrum to find an appropriate match. Use
the manual mapping functionality, which is described in
the comments of the mapping-overrides.xml file. This file
is located in the $SPECROOT\ tomcat\webapps\
spectrum\WEB-INF\ehlth\config directory.
The mapping and alarm processing features do not
support devices in a secure domain.
We plan to address this issue in a future release.
The integration does not support IPv6.
We plan to address this issue in a future release.
