Nimsoft Integration Enhancements
Integration with CA Nimsoft
This release adds full support for integration with CA Nimsoft.
CA Nimsoft and CA Spectrum are integrated through the web server. This integration
supports HostServer system management. The HostServer models resulting from the
integration provides traditional Spectrum capabilities such as layer2 connectivity and
fault isolation with the features supported by Nimsoft monitor.
The CA Spectrum - CA Nimsoft Integration expands the CA Spectrum model of the
infrastructure with information and alarms from CA Nimsoft and provides the following
benefits:

Provides holistic view of availability of hosts on network and their performance data
for fault management in a single pane of application. It also provides an end to end
root cause and impact analysis across network and server CIs, extending Spectrum
core capabilities to other IT domains.

Advance condition correlation between CA Nimsoft and CA Spectrum helps in
building robust availability management.
■
Leverage CA Nimsoft capabilities for server management and use the CA Spectrum
network management capabilities for an end to end IT management.
OneClick Enhancements
Support for Deletion of Custom MIBs
The release of CA Spectrum lets you delete imported custom MIBs from the MIB tools
database. Using the MIB Tools interface of OneClick you can delete custom MIBs.

New Cleared Alarms History Tab
The Cleared Alarms History Tab is added to the Component Detail Panel of the OneClick
console. The Cleared Alarms History Tab displays historical information of the cleared
alarms for a selected model. For more information, see the CA Spectrum Operator
Guide.
