Manage links, history, downloads6.2.2
To manage a link, phone number or address displayed on a web
page
Link• Touch the link to open the web page.
Touch and hold the link to open options for further
operation, like open in new window, save link, Copy
link URL, etc.
Phone number• Touch to call the phone number.
Address• Touch to open Google Maps and locate the address.
To view Browser history
Touch •
from Browser screen.
Touch • Bookmarks.
Touch • HISTORY tab to view browser history.
Touch • SAVED PAGES to view the pages you saved.
To download a web application/view your downloads
Before downloading a web application, you need to enable your phone to
install web applications (touch the Application tab from the Home screen,
touch Settings\Security, mark checkbox of Unknown sources, finally
touch OK to confirm).
To download a item, touch the item or the link you want to download.
To cancel a download, touch the downloaded item from the Notification
panel, touch and hold the item to be deleted, and touch
to confirm.
To view items you have downloaded, touch the Application tab, then
touch DOWNLOADED.
Manage bookmarks
To bookmark a web page
Open the web page you want to bookmark.•
Touch •
and touch Save to bookmarks, or from the History screen,
touch the star beside the URL.
Enter the name and the location if needed and touch • OK to confirm.
To open a bookmark
Touch •
and touch Bookmarks, or touch the icon to enter the
Bookmarks screen.
Touch the bookmark you want to open.•
You can also touch and hold to display the options screen, then touch •
Open or Open in new window.
Touch and hold a bookmark in the bookmark list to view
additional options:
Add shortcut to •
Home
To add a bookmark shortcut to the Home
screen.
Share link• To share the bookmark.
Copy link URL• To copy the bookmark link.
Set as homepage• To set this page as the homepage.
