3.2 Windows Vista limitations and restrictions

3.2.1 Hardware requirements

PC must be compliant with Windows Vista requirements

3.2.2 Windows Vista versions supported

- Vista Enterprise, Business and Ultimate are supported in this release.

Windows Vista 32 bits editions only.

3.2.3 User rights

- Local administration rights are required for installation as for XP.

- standard user rights are sufficient for use of applications

3.2.4 Telephony Services – IP Softphone

The following restrictions apply:

• Soundcard or USB headset must be Windows Vista ready

IP Softphone encryption and VLAN feature are not supported on Vista nor

Windows 7.

3.2.5 A4980 On line Help not available

This is due to the fact that in Vista the file "winhlp32.exe" is no more available.

Microsoft proposes as a workaround for this issue to download and install winhlp.32.exe.
