Fresh installations

In order to be able to install the My IC software, you will need to have .NET framework 2.0

SP2 or above version installed on your PC, before launching the setup of My Instant Communicator

Do not forget the configuration of your Internet browser settings:

==> The OmniTouch UC and Teamwork servers host names must be added as trusted sites,

All ActiveX parameters in Internet Explorer, must be set at least

to “Demand” (or authorized)

for trusted sites.

Upgrade procedures

If you had previously installed a 1.8.xxx.xxx (R5.1) version or upper, you can either:

Use the automatic upgrade of My Instant Communicator:

1. Exit My Instant Communicator if the application is launched

2. Restart My Instant Communicator

3. The My Instant Communicator automatic upgrade will then request a reboot of your PC,

according to your options configuration.

Note:

Reboot of the PC will be not necessary in future upgrades (releases above

5.0.001.563)

4. After the reboot, the My Instant Communicator upgrade is performed

5. After completion of the upgrade restart My Instant Communicator

Manually upgrade My Instant Communicator:

1. Exit My Instant Communicator if the application is launched

2. Launch the setup of 1.8.006.000 directly and upgrade (no reboot of PC in that case)

3. Restart My Instant Communicator
