2.3.4 Upgrade procedure from R5.x
Classical way of upgrade :
• Back up your system with “<Install path>/Backup/database-save.bin”.
• Insert the OTUC new release DVD-ROM
• Mount it with “mount /media/cdrom”
• Run “/media/cdrom/setup.bin”
• Accept the license terms
• Choose the “Update” mode.
• Restart your system at the end of the setup program.
• Insert the OTUC new release DVD-ROM
• Mount it with “mount /media/cdrom”
• Run the post-install tool with :
o ”/media/cdrom/Servers/Complements/Scripts/Linux/postInstall.sh”
• Follow the instructions on the screen.
• Eject your DVD with “eject”
• Restart the OTUC server.
Note: the postinstall.sh script can be found in directory:
/Servers/Complements/Scripts/Linux/postInstall.sh
2.3.4.1 Important : TO DO ACTIONS after upgrade
Application Server Primary and Unified Login
Verify in OTUC administration services that server port is set to 443 for Application Server Primary
and Unified login
VoIP Plugin:
For a system updated from UC 4.X or UC 5.x to 5.1.000.586, voip plugin fails to update on client
computer. There are two possible solutions in order to update voip plugin:
either
* SMS deployment of the voip plugin on WebSoftPhone clients
or
- Uninstallation of voip plugin on WebSoftPhone clients (at first start of WSP, voip plugin will be
downloaded from the server).
Teamwork Services rights
If the site has Teamwork Services on IPTouch installed, please read the following very carefully.
