2.3.3 Upgrades/Migrations from previous releases
2.3.3.1 Upgrades from Releases 3.0.7 or 4.0 to Release 5.1
" Upgrade of Windows / Linux Suite R3.0.7 or R4.x to Linux Suite R5.1 is not supported.
A migration procedure must be applied.
2.3.3.2 Migration from Releases 3.0, 4.0 or 4.1 to Release 5.1
The following Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch UC migrations are supported:
• My Phone Linux R3.0.7 to Telephony services Linux 5.1.

• Migrations from R3.0.5 or R3.0.6 to R5.1 need an intermediate upgrade to R3.0.7.
• Migration from R4.0. need an intermediate upgrade to R4.1
" Migration of MyPhone / Linux Suite R3.0.1 (Early Business version not released
) to Linux Suite
R5.1 is not supported
Restriction :
• In the case of a 3.0.7 to 5.0 migration and only in this case, the 5.0 backup tool does not
save the PostgreSQL data. As a work-around, once the R5.0 backup tool installed on the
3.0.7 system, edit “/opt/ALCHTS/Backup/configuration.xml” and replace HTS_HOME with
ECC_HOME in the Application_Server component section; this work-around should be
applied ONLY on a 3.0.7 system.
