NOTE—To configure an SSID to support 802.1x, set its opmode to dynamicWep or

dynamicTkip. Failure to do so will prevent clients from implementing 802.1x.

Enter the following commands at an attached terminal or via Telnet to the

switch.

Enter the enable mode.

Ty p e enable <cr>, then input the <password> and press <Enter>

Enter the configuration mode

Ty p e configure terminal <Enter>

Enable the dot1x mode.

Ty p e aaa dot1x mode enable <Enter>.

Verify that the dot1x enable was successful.

Ty p e show aaa dot1x <Enter>.
