Displaying Directory Contents
The ls and dir commands have the same function. These two commands display the contents of the current
directory. If you use the ls or dir command while logged into the /flash file directory as shown on
page 2-8, the following will display.
-> dir
Listing Directory /flash:
-rw 1452 April 7 12:50 boot.params
drw 2048 April 12 11:16 certified/
drw 2048 April 3 12:32 working/
drw 2048 April 2 16:22 switch/
-rw 10000 April 12 11:48 swlog1.log
-rw 10000 April 12 11:36 swlog2.log

If you specify a path as part of the ls or dir command, your screen will list the contents of the directory at
the specified path.
-> ls /flash/certified
Listing Directory /flash/certified:
drw 2048 April 12 11:16 ./
drw 2048 April 12 15:58 ../
-rw 2636 April 12 11:16 boot.cfg
-rw 496901 April 6 11:07 Fl2eth.img
