Accounting collectors.
The subelement time changes on several unexpected
occasions
In the Resource Editor, the subelement date must change when:
v A subelement is added, updated, or deleted.
v JMS event is triggered.
However, in the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM LogToFile Technology Pack, the
subelement date also changes when:
v A full dump file is processed by the UBA even if a subelement is not inserted,
updated, or deleted.
v Performance or Accounting CSV file is created by DataStage.
v Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM is upgraded to Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM LogToFile.
Subelement state is not updated to OFF when you change the
SAP Ingress or Egress Policy
Symptoms
When you change the Ingress and Egress Policy for the existing SAPs, the new
SAP Queues associated with the new Policy are created correctly in Resource
Editor with State = ON. However, the old SAP Queues associated with the old
Policy remain as state = ON, and they are not updated to state = OFF.
Synchronize the time on the IBM InfoSphere Information
server and the SAM server
Symptoms
Typically, there is a time difference on the IBM InfoSphere Information server and
the SAM server. This may result in incorrect timestamps on the generated reports.
Causes
Time at the IBM InfoSphere Information server and the SAM server is not
synchronized.
Resolving the problem
To resolve this issue, set the SAM server time to be same as the IBM InfoSphere
Information server even if both servers are at different timezone. To verify whether
both servers are synchronized, run the date +%s command, and make sure that the
value that is returned for both servers is same.
Data is not displayed properly in the Volume and Utilization
report
Symptoms
You browse to the following path on the Tivoli Integrated Portal to run the Volume
and Utilization report: NOC Reporting > Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM > SAM
Router Health > Link Aggregation Groups (LAG Interfaces) > Volume &
Utilization Group Summary. The report is displayed on the right. In the Inbound
Utilization and Outbound Utilization fields, --, 0, and No Data Available,are
displayed in the following tables:
