rm -rf *_visual
v /opt/proviso/datachannel/log

3. Create backup of the DataChannel directories and do not delete them from the
original location.
4. Install the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM LogToFile 2.3.0.0 Technology Pack. For
more information, see “Installing the technology pack by using the
launchpad” on page 40.
5. Copy the core patches to/opt/proviso/datachannel/state.
6. Start the Topology Editor and load the technology pack from the JAR file.
7. Check the properties set in the UBA Collectors. Modify the value accordingly
for the upgrade environment, if needed.
8. Save the topology.
9. Run the deployer to complete the installation.
10. Start the Request Editor, set to inactive, and then save.
11. Update the polling time to 5 Minutes or 15 Minutes, set to active, and then
click Save.
12. Run the following commands to restart each DataChannel visual process:
$ cnsw
$ logw
$ amgrw
$ cmgrw
13. Run the dccmd command to start all the DataChannel applications: .
$ dccmd start all
14. Compile the uba profiles.
15. Run the auto-grouping again after the full dump process is completed for the
first time.
Note: When you upgrade Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM FindToFile 2.14.0.0
Technology Pack to Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM LogToFile 2.3.0.0 Technology
Pack, you do not need to remove linking and timeCaptured metrics. You must
follow the upgrade steps.
