13.1.2 ATM and the STPro
The following figure provides an overview of the endtoend
architecture of the ATM connectivity; from your STPro to remote
access devices.

Symbolizes a cross connection.
Hence no endtoend connectivity!
Remote LAN
Practically speaking, a number of VCs to one, or multiple remote
destination(s) can start from/are terminated at the STPro.
By default, a number of channels are terminated in the STPro for
Ethernet; others are crossconnected to the ATMF25.6 port (if
equipped).
Endtoend ATM connectivity is the responsibility of local
operators. There might be regional differences in the type and
number of VCs that are crossconnected.
If problems are encountered, check with your local operator for
more information.
