In the drawing above a LIS, 172.16.1.x, represented by the
ellipse, runs between the STPro(1) and access router(2).
At the local premisses an IP network, 10.x.x.x, is created.
An IP address is configured on the Ethernet port (10.0.0.138).
On the DSL side of the STPro(1) one CIP member is by default
enabled. This CIP member is configured with IP address
172.16.1.1 and is part of the LIS 172.16.1.x.
One VC in the STPro(1) phonebook (CIPPVC1), is explicitly
assigned to this CIP member. This VC(8/80) is crossconnected to
the remote destination.
