ALCATELLUCENT OMNISWITCH 6850E MODELS
The OmniSwitch 6850E family offers customers an extensive selection of gigabit fixed-configuration switches with up to four 10GigE
uplinks, PoE and power supply options that accommodate most needs. All models are in a 1RU form factor and have two 10GBase-CX4
ports that can be used either for stacking or as a connector to a plug-in module for two additional 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports.

Combo ports are ports individually configurable to be 10/100/1000Base-T or 1000Base-X, which support SFP transceivers for short, long
and very long distances.
POWER SUPPLIES
All OmniSwitch 6850E models support redundant, hot-swappable AC, DC or PoE power supplies. The primary and the backup power supply
units are modular, allowing for easier maintenance and replacement. There is no interruption of service when a new power supply is
installed or an old one replaced
