Multimedia applications

8.1 Camera/Camcorder ........................

Your mobile phone is fitted with a Camera and a Camcorder for taking

photos and shooting videos.

Before using the Camera or Camcorder, please ensure that a microSD

card where all pictures and videos are stored is correctly installed. Also,

be sure to open the protective lens cover before use to avoid it affecting

your picture quality.

To access this function, touch Application tab from the Home screen and

then touch Camera or Camcorder.

Touch to view

pictures or videos

you have taken.

Touch to switch

between Camera

and Video mode.

Touch to take a picture or

record a video.

Touch & hold to focus.

Touch to

show settings.

Drag up and down

to zoom in/out.

Touch the screen

to set a focus.

Touch to switch between

front/back camera.

To take a picture

The screen acts as the viewfinder. First position the object or landscape

in the viewfinder, touch the screen to focus if necessary, touch icon to

take the picture which will be automatically saved.

To shoot a video

Switch Camera mode to Video mode or access Camcorder directly from

the applications list. First position the object or landscape in the viewfinder,

and touch icon to start recording. Touch icon to stop recording. The

video will be automatically saved.

Further operations when viewing a picture/video you have taken

•Touch the icon of gmail, Bluetooh, MMS, etc to share the photo or video

you have taken.

•Touch the photo or the icon to access Gallery.

•Touch the grey area or the Back key to return to camera or

Camcorder.

8.1.1 Settings in framing mode

Before taking a photo/shooting a video, touch the icon you can adjust a

number of settings in framing mode.

Camera settings

•Flash mode Touch to turn on/off flash mode.

•White balance Touch to adjust color in different lights: Auto,

Incandescent, Daylight, Fluorescent or Cloudy.

•Exposure Touch to adjust the value of exposure.

•Scene Mode Touch to adjust the scene: ASD, Action, etc.

•More Touch to set Store location, Picture size, and

anti-banding.
