Touch Search bar from Home screen or press • Search key from other

To protect your phone and privacy, you can lock the phone screen by
creating a variety of patterns, PIN or password etc.
To create a screen unlock pattern (refer to section11.8.1 for detailed
settings)
Press • Menu key from the home screen, touch Settings, then touch
Security\Set up screen lock\Pattern.
Draw your own pattern, you can also press • Menu key for help.

To create a screen unlock PIN/Password
Press • Menu key from the home screen, touch Settings, then touch
Security\Set up screen lock\PIN or Password.
Set your PIN or password.•
To lock phone screen
Press Power key once to lock the screen.
To unlock phone screen
Draw the unlock pattern you have created or enter PIN or password to
wake up the screen. If you did not set the unlock screen, press Power key
to unlock.
