Chapter 7: Managing the Server
Mailing Malware and Report Notifications
The OmniVista SafeGuard Manager server has emailing capabilities that allow the
administrator to set up the mailer such that automatic email notifications are sent to a
specified user/administrator. The following two types of data events automatically
trigger an email notification:
■ when malware incidents are detected
■ when reports are generated
To set up the mailer:
1 Select Too ls > Server Settings. The Edit Server Settings screen displays.
2 Select the Mailer tab (Figure 125).
