Chapter 5: Device Configuration
■ Default roles cannot be deleted.

Administration Guide.
The procedure for creating a role is:
1 Create the role by giving it a name.
2 Define the parent role, if necessary.
3 Apply either a user policy or a malware policy to the role.
To create a new role:
1 Select Roles from the navigation tree (Figure 61) and click New in the
Action Bar.
The New Role dialog box displays ( Figure 76 ).

2 Enter information in the user-configurable fields as follows:
NOTE: Role names are case sensitive. The “software engineer” role is not the
same as “Software Engineer” role.
