Customized management
Note: there is no directory present the first time it is opened.
Clicking on the “Add” button op ens a new window. Click on the Machine data source tab and
then on the “New...” button. .
The following window opens:
Click the “Sy stem data source” case to enable any other user of the 4059 application on this machine
to use this database.
Then click t he Next“ b utton. In the next window, choose the access pilot for the c orres-
pond ing dat abase (e.g.: Microsoft Excel Driver for an Excel database). Confirm your
selection by clicking the “Next>” button.
The window displayed al lows the previ ously entered data to be viewed. “End”:
The database administrator will then request the name to b e assigned to the database (the name used
to acccess the database), and then select the database (an Excel or Access etc. file).
Example: if the database is Excel
