3.7. Configuring physical access on the PC
In
this screen, the operator configures physical access set tings for the newly installed application with:

e name identifying access,
-ch
oice of protocol. For an instal lation using the 4059 MAC applicatio n and the TA-MMK un it,
ph
ysical access must be configured with PAC/PC protocol.

te: with the TA-MAC unit, access must be configured with MAC/PC protocol.

e choice of port (com1 to 4) for the connection between PC and set.

e choice of MPB mode (set by default at "enable super & combined").

emark: this step is no t performed in the case of a software upgrade. If the attendant wishes to

odify exisiting access parameters, the Alcatel ABCA applications c onfigurator window (shown

elow) must be used.

Setup tool for ABCA applicatio ns. When the window is displaye d, select the application then click
“Access... “.
