Chapter 6: Configuring Authentication and Role Derivation
Authenticator PAE State Displays the current state of the authenticator PAE state
machine. Possible values are:
■ Initialize
■ Disconnected
■ Connecting
■ Authenticating
■ Authenticated
■ Aborting
■ Held
■ ForceAuthorized
■ ForceUnauthorized
Quiet Period
Displays the
timer used by the authenticator state
machine on this port to define periods
of time in
which it does not attempt to acquire a supplicant. The
quiet period range is from 0 to 65535 seconds.
Transmit Period
Displays the timer value
used by the authenticator
state machine on the specified port to
determine
when to send an EAPOL EAP Request/Identity frame to
the supplicant.
The timer range is from 1 to 65535 seconds.
Supplicant Timeout
Displays the timer value
used by the authenticator
state machine on this port to timeout
the supplicant.
The timer range is from 1 to 65535 seconds.
Server Timeout (secs)
Displays the
timer value used by the authenticator
on this port to timeout the authentication
server.
The timer range is from 1 to 65535 seconds.
Maximum Requests Displays the maximum number of times the
authenticator state machine on this port retransmits an
EAPOL EAP Request/Identity before timing out the
supplicant.
The request maximum has the range from 1 to 10.
Reauthentication Period Displays the timer used by the authenticator state
machine on this port to determine when
reauthentication of the supplicant takes place.
The period has the range of 1 to 65535 seconds.
Reauthentication Enabled Displays whether reauthentication is enabled on this
port. Possible values are true or false.
Key Transmission Enabled Displays whether the key is transmitted to the supplicant
for the specified port. Possible values are true or false.
