1.4 Control and switching unit (CSU)
The following figures show the external appearance of the control and switching
units.

NOTE
The control and switching unit comes in two sizes: a standard table
size and an extended table size.
Standard table size: CSU-1A
Extended table size: CSU-1B
Do not install both types in a single Switch.
If you install both types, they will not operate properly.
NOTE
Memory cannot be added or replaced. Do not remove, add, or replace
memory. If you do so, operation is not guaranteed.
NOTE
In a control and switching unit, a flash disk is used as a storage device
for storing base software, configuration information, and log
information.
The number of times the flash disk can be written to is limited and
should be noted during operation.

1.4.1 CSU-1A
The CSU-1A control and switching unit (standard table size) are common to the
AX6600S series switches.
The CSU-1A has the following hardware specifications:
z Memory card slot: 1 slot
z AUX port (RS-232C): 1 port
z CONSOLE port (RS-232C): 1 port
z MANAGEMENT port (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX): 1 port
