ALAXALA Ring Configuration Guide (Edition 1)

Preface

This document provides information for configuring a system that makes full use of the Autonomous

Extensible Ring Protocol supported by the AX series switches (AX6700S/AX6300S, AX3600S, and

AX2400S). This document contains an overview of how the protocol works, how to set up the protocol in a

model configuration, notes, and other information.

Conventions: The terms "Switch" and "switch"

The term Switch (upper-case "S") is an abbreviation for any or all of the following models:

・ AX6700S series switch

・ AX6300S series switch

・ AX3600S series switch

・ AX2400S series switch

・ AX1200S series switch

The term switch (lower-case "s") might refer to a Switch, another type of switch from the current vendor, or

a switch from another vendor. The context decides the meaning.

- Ethernet is a trade name of Xerox Corporation in the United States.
