Check the tip of the optical connector cleaner for torn surface fabric, stains and foreign
substances before cleaning the connector.
The faulty tip might damage the ferrule end.
Make sure to use a dedicated optical connector cleaner. Otherwise, the ferrule end may be
contaminated.
