 Checking the progress of Switch startup
The following describes the process from turning on the power until the Switch starts.
1. After the power is turned on, the ST1 LED on the front panel of the Switch turns
green, and the startup process starts.
2. When the Switch starts, the ST1 LED turns green.
 About memory cards
Use a memory card in the following cases:
 Backing up operating information
 Saving failure information when a failure occurs
 Updating the software
