[Step 8] Connecting an interface cable
Connect the interface cable to the interface port.
NOTE
For a PoE connection, if you disconnect and then re-connect a UTP cable within two
seconds of connecting the cable, the power class of the equipment on the
power-receiving side might not be recognized correctly.
When removing and re-connecting the cable, be sure to wait for at least two
seconds.
[Step 9] Turning on the power
Set the power switch of the Switch to ON.

[Step 10] Turning on the EPU
Set the power switch of the EPU and the power supply module to ON to supply standby
power to the Switch.
1. Set the main power switch of the EPU to ON.

Before turning on the main power switch of an EPU, turn off the installed power
supply modules.
