2. Connect the supplied power cable to DC power connector 1 on the rear of the switch (push the connector until
you hear a click).

The ground terminal must be connected for proper grounding. Failure to do so could result
in electric shock or failures due to electrical noise.
Do not remove the protection cap except for when connecting a cable. Using the switch
without the protection cap could result in a fire or electric shock.
An optional DC power cable is required to have redundant power supply.
For this operation, remove the protection cap on DC power connector 2, and connect a DC
power cable.
Make sure you keep the removed protection cap in a safe place.
