Sets the maximum connection time.
Syntax
To set or change information:
web-authentication max-timer { <Minutes> | infinity }
To delete information:
no web-authentication max-timer

Parameters
{ <Minutes> | infinity }
Sets the maximum time (in minutes) that an authenticated user is allowed to be
connected. After a user has logged in, if the time set by using this command elapses,
the user is automatically logged out.
If
infinity is set, there is no limit on the connection time.
1. Default value when this parameter is omitted:
This parameter cannot be omitted.
2. Range of values:
10 to 1440 (minutes) or
infinity
Default behavior
60 minutes is set as the maximum connection time.

When the change is applied
The change is applied immediately after setting values are changed.
Notes
1. All Web authentication settings take effect when the web-authentication
system-auth-control command is set.
2. See Table 23-1 Configuration commands and Web authentication modes for the
authentication mode in which the command's settings are operable.
3. If the value for the maximum connection time is either decreased or increased, the
previous setting is applied to a user that is currently authenticated, and the current
setting takes effect only from the next login.
4. The time on the Switch is not used for the connection time for Web authentication.
Accordingly, if the date and time is changed by using the
set clock operation
command, the connection time is not affected.
