Sets the operating mode for monitoring the link status.
1. Default value when this parameter is omitted:
This parameter cannot be omitted.
2. Range of values:
1 (The link status is monitored by hardware.)
Default behavior
The link status is monitored by software.
Impact on communication
Because of changes to the operating mode for monitoring the link status, communication
might temporarily stop.
When the change is applied
The change is applied immediately after setting values are changed.
