13.0 Window Management

At times an operator might find it necessary or advantageous to have several database windows open at

the same time. There are 5 tools to help in switching between open database windows.

• cascade windows

• tile windows

• tile windows horizontally

• arrange icons

• cycle windows

13.1 Cascading Windows

Cascading windows automatically takes all open windows and arranges them, one on top of another,

with the title bars showing for each window.

1. To cascade all open windows, click on the Window ⇒ Cascade pull-down menu option. The

individual open database windows will be organized in the Doors window as shown in Figure 1-17.
