3.0 Identify an Unknown ID

The Doors program is able to read and identify a card’s user in three different ways.

• reading the card at the enrollment reader

• entering the card’s internal number

• entering the card’s number – the number printed on the body of the card

NOTE: On a mixed PXL/EntraGuard system, the read card option is not available since there is no

enrollment reader. You must use one of the other two methods to identify the user. However, when there

is an EntraGuard unit on the system, a fourth option is added to identify a user by User ID (see

“Identify an Unknown User ID” on page 39 in section 10).

1. To identify an unknown user, click on the Reports ⇒ Find ID Card pull-down menu. The Find ID

window appears (see Figure 4-51).
