2.2 Display/Edit a Holiday Schedule
The following instructions explain how to display and edit the contents of a holiday schedule.
1. Click on Setup ⇒ Timezones or click on the icon on the tool bar. The Setup Timezones
window appears (see Figure 3-1 on page 4 of this section).
2. Click on the Holiday One tab. The holiday one schedule is displayed (see Figure 3-9 on page 14 of
this section).
3. Review the data displayed. If any edits need to be made, simply click in the cell needing editing and
type the new value for that cell.
4. Once all necessary changes have been made, click on the button. If the holiday schedule is
not saved before clicking any other button or exiting the Setup Timezones window, the data entered
is lost and must be re-entered.
2.2.1 To Add a New Holiday
1. To add a new holiday scroll through the list of holidays and locate the first set of open Dates/Names
cells. Enter the holiday date and name as described in “Holiday Schedules” on page 12 of this
section. For example, Click on the open Dates cell and type 01/15/2001. Click on the open Names
cell and type Martin Luther King Day.
2. Click on the button. If the holiday schedule is not saved before clicking any other button or
exiting the Setup Timezones window, the data entered is lost and must be re-entered. Once the save
is complete the holiday schedule is sorted and displayed in order (see Figure 3-10)

3. Now update the access control network with the new information. Click on the button on
the tool bar (for details on the update process refer to “Update the Network” on page 35 in
section 5).
