4.1.5 MOUNTING THE BOILER
Determine the right position for the wall-hang boiler with respect to the
required clearances for servicing, general access and position of the
ue.Fixthemountingbrackettothewall,withthexingsprovided,en-
suring that it is horizontal. Hang the boiler on the mounting bracket and
xtheboilertothewallfromthebottom.(SeeFig.11)
4.1.6 Water and Gas Connections to the Boiler:
CH water connections should be made via ¾’’, gas and DHW connec-
tions should be made via ½’’ isolation valves (see Fig. 12). For copper
installations ¾” and ½” dimensions correspond to Ø 22 and Ø 15 mm re-
spectively.Takecarethatthesealsprovidedarecorrectlyttedbetween
theinstallationkitttingsandtheconnectiontails.
Purgethegassupplybeforenallyconnectingtheappliance.Thecom-
plete installation must be tested for gas soundness.
Thoroughlyushtheheatingsystemandthecoldwatermainssupply
in accordance with the recommended methods. After this operation,

4.1.6 Water and Gas Connections to the Boiler:
CH water connections should be made via ¾’’, gas and DHW connections should be made via
½’’ isolation valves (see Fig. 12). For copper installations ¾” and ½” dimensions correspond
to Ø 22 and Ø 15 mm respectively. Take care that the seals provided are correctly fitted
between the installation kit fittings and the connection tails.
Purge the gas supply before finally connecting the appliance. The complete installation must
be tested for gas soundness.
Thoroughly flush the heating system and the cold water mains supply in accordance with the
recommended methods. After this operation, ensure that the water filters at the water inlet are
cleaned before finally connection the boiler to the water installation.
Check that no dirt is left in either the gas or water pipe work as this could cause damage to the
appliance.
