Switching off the engine
1. Set the throttle to Slow ( 34).
In order to prevent freezing, continue running
theaugerandimpelleruntiltheyaremostly
free of snow.
2. TurntheenginekeytoStopandremove(
35-1).
x The engine switches off.
3. Turn the fuel tap to the Closed position (
35).
Danger: risk of severe injury!

makesurethattheengineisatastandstill.

Wear work clothing and protective gear.
▪ Winter clothing
▪ Non-slip winter shoes
▪ Eye protection (safety glasses or visor)
▪ Hearing protection
Starting operation
1. Prepare the snow blower for operation.
2. Check the position of the snow discharge chute and
adjust the discharge direction using the hand
crank (
36-1).

3. Start the engine.
4. Set the wheel drive speed (
36-3):
Theforwardspeedsrangefrom1to5,1being
the slowest speed and 5 the fastest speed.
The reverse speeds are R1 and R2, R1 being
the slower speed and R2 the faster speed.
5. Press the auger drive clutch lever (
37).

Keepawayfromtheaugerswhiletheyarein
motion.Keepotherpersonsoranimalsaway.
6. Press the wheel drive clutch lever (
37).
x The snow blower starts moving.
Stopping operation
1. Release (disengage) the auger and wheel drive
clutch levers (
38-1).
In order to prevent freezing, continue running

free of snow.
x The snow blower stops moving and the auger
and impeller stop running.
