fromtheoperatingarea.
Themachineoperatororuserisresponsibleforac-
cidents involving other persons and their property.
Childrenandpersonswhoarenotfamiliarwithop-
erationarenotpermittedtousethesnowblower.
Observethelocalregulationsgoverningthemini-
mumageoftheoperator.
Donotoperatewhenundertheinuenceofalcohol,
drugsormedication.

Hearing protection
Workonlywhenthereisadequatedaylightorarti-
cial lighting. Adjust your speed to conditions. Walk,
don’t run.
Keephands,feetandclothingawayfromtheauger
andimpeller.
Observe local ordinances regarding operating
times.
Neverleavethemachineunattendedwhenitis
ready for operation.
Be careful when working on slippery surfaces.
Dangerofslipping,especiallywhenmovingin
reverse. Adjust your speed to conditions.
Operatemachineonlyifcompletelyassembledwith
functioningprotectiveequipment.
Priortoeachuse,checkthemachinefordamage
andhavedamagedpartsreplacedbeforeusing.
Disengage the wheel drive and auger before start-
ing the engine (both clutch levers upright).
In the following situations, switch off the engine and
waituntilthemachineisatrest,thendisconnect
the spark plug connector:

Beforemakingadjustments
Whenmalfunctionsoccur
Before loosening blockages
Before unclogging
After hitting obstacles
Ifmalfunctionsorunusualvibrationsoccur
Checktheareatobeclearedcompletelyandcare-
fully.Removedoormats,sleighs,boards,cables
and other objects.
Donotusethemachineonsteepslopesdueto
the risk of slipping or tipping. Exercise additional
caution when turning on sloped surfaces.
