Don’t leave the DAB digital radio
switched On when it is unattended
for long periods of time, unless it is
specifically stated that it is designed for
unattended operation or has a standby
mode.
Don’t obstruct the ventilation vents on
the DAB digital radio, for example with
curtains or soft furnishings, as this may
cause overheating.
Do not place the unit in closed
bookcases or racks without proper
ventilation.
Do not use the unit in humid or damp
conditions or allow it to be exposed to
rain or moisture.
Store the DAB digital radio in a clean,
dry environment.
The DAB digital radio shall not be
exposed to dripping or splashing and
no objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, shall be placed on it.
Position the power cable and other
connected cables so that they are not
likely to be walked on, pinched or where
items can be placed on or against them.
Never allow children to insert foreign
objects into holes or slots on the unit.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted
candles, should be placed on the unit.
Disconnect the unit from the mains
supply before cleaning.
Do not use any liquids or aerosol
cleaners, as this may damage the unit.
Use a soft, dust free cloth.
When replacing the batteries make sure
that you use the same size and type.
Do not insert a mix of new and used
batteries in the DAB digital radio. If you
are replacing the batteries make sure
that you replace them all.
Please ensure that used batteries (not
included) are disposed of safely.
Do not dispose of batteries (not
included) in fire.
Contact local authorities for means of
disposal.
Consult your dealer if you are ever in
doubt about the installation, operation,
or safety of the DAB digital radio.
Make sure that other people in your
household are conversant with the DAB
digital radio.
In case of malfunction due to
electrostatic discharge, reset the
product as described in Reset on page
9 (reconnection of the power source
may be required) to resume normal
operation.
