Please read this entire installation manual carefully prior to installing and using the Akrapovič product. Akrapovič product should only be installed by persons skilled in motorcycle exhaust system or other motorcycle parts installation and performance.

www.akrapovic.com REMOVAL OF STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM: 1. 2. Put the motorcycle on a side stand, we recommend a central racing stand. Make sure, that surface is solid and flat. Unscrew marked bolts and carefully remove the heat shields off the motorcycle (F 01 ). CAUTION: be careful not to injure yourself or damage any part of the motorcycle during this procedure! F 01 3. Unscrew marked bolt and loosen marked clamps than carefully remove the muffler off the motorcycle (F 02).
INSTALLATION OF THE AKRAPOVIČ EXHAUST SYSTEM: 1. Assemble the muffler’s inlet with the graphite gasket and clamp from Akrapovič installation kit, as shown (F 03). CAUTION: be careful not to injure yourself or damage any part of the muffler during this procedure! F 03 2. Assemble the bushes from Akrapovič installation kit onto the bracket, as shown (F 04).
www.akrapovic.com 3. Carefully slide the muffler onto the pre muffler, hand tighten it using bolt, washer and nut from Akrapovič installation kit (F 05). IMPORTANT: make sure not to damage the exhaust or any other part of the motorcycle during this process! INSTALLATION TIP: for perfect positioning you can reposition the pre muffler! F 05 4. Screw Akrapovič heat shield’s bolts and heat-resistant washers (Akrapovič installation kit) on Akrapovič heat shield as shown (F 06, 07, 08).

www.akrapovic.com 5. Install and tighten the heat shield onto the muffler, as shown (F 09). IMPORTANT: make sure not to damage any part of the exhaust system or motorcycle during this procedure! 4.9Nm 3.6ftlb F 09 6. Position the muffler in respect to the motorcycle, tighten the muffler’s bracket bolt and clamp to the specified torques (F 10, 11).
14Nm 10ftlb F 11 7. Tighten the pre muffler’s clamps to the specified torques (F 12). IMPORTANT: be careful not to injure yourself and any part of the motorcycle during this procedure! 9.8Nm 7.
www.akrapovic.com FINAL INSTALLATION: 1. Clean grease spots off all Akrapovič product’s surfaces, when installation is finished. Cleaning will prevent spots from burning onto the surface. Do not use aggressive chemical cleaners, because they can damage the surface or stickers: • Titanium surfaces (titanium muffler’s outer sleeve, titanium pipes etc): use a soft cloth sprayed with a multi-purpose spray lubricant (WD-40® or equivalent)*, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
