Mixing
Shake bottle to ensure a uniform mix before application. For
better flowability, prior to use place container in a warm
location or submerge in hot water (please note, a water bath will
damage the product label).
Application
1. For best results, apply when temperatures are above 50°F
(10°C) within 48 hours of application and when no rain is
expected within 24 hours. Gray Pourable Concrete Crack
Filler cures by air drying; therefore, cooler temperatures will
retard drying while higher temperatures will accelerate drying.
2. Clip spout close to the end for narrow cracks and at a wider
point for larger cracks. Pour into the crack and fill only to ⅛ in.
(3 mm) from surface. This technique will allow foot and
vehicle traffic to resume immediately on narrow cracks.
Maximum application width and depth is ¼ in. (6 mm).
3. Protect new surfaces from use until material is completely
hard and set. If additional coatings are needed, be sure the
surface is dry and clean for better adhesion.
Curing
Product should be air-cured. Painting this product is not
recommended.
Clean Up
Use soapy water to clean hands and tools immediately after
use. Dried material must be mechanically removed.
Limitations
• Follow all industry standard safety procedures when handling,
such as gloves and eye protection.
• Do not apply over concrete cured less than 7 days, or is
frozen or contains frost.
• For use in narrow horizontal concrete cracks.

3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Akona Gray Pourable Concrete Crack Filler is a ready mixed,
pourable material for filling narrow horizontal cracks up to ¼ in.
deep x ¼ in. wide (6x6 mm). It is gray in color to blend with
concrete surfaces and is flexible to conform to movements of
active cracks. For larger static cracks and holes, use Akona
Vinyl Cement Patch or with wider active moving cracks, a
polyurethane sealant is recommended.

5. INSTALLATION
Preparation
Read all directions before starting work. Proper surface
preparation is crucial to achieving a successful application.
1. Always remove all loose and unsound materials. Thoroughly
clean all surfaces of dirt, dust, grease, or other contaminants
which could interfere with bonding.
2. Deep cracks should be filled with clean fine sand or backer
rod within ¼ in. of the surface.
3. For better adhesion, surfaces should be dry.
Note: It is the responsibility of the installer/applicator to ensure
the suitability of the product for its intended use.
